The heat exchange unit consists of a heat exchanger, a circulating water pump, a water replenishment system, a control system, and a pipeline component (valve and instrument) system. This system utilizes a plate heat exchanger as the core heat exchange component to convert the heat obtained from the primary side (steam or high-temperature hot water) into hot water that meets the usage requirements of the secondary side (user end).
Due to the use of plate heat exchangers in the unit, isolation between the primary heat source and the secondary water usage is achieved. After entering the plate heat exchanger, the steam or high-temperature water on the primary side becomes condensate or high-temperature return water and returns to the heat source, forming a loop circulation in the heating system. The secondary return water passes through a filter to remove dirt, and then is pumped into the plate heat exchanger by a circulating pump. After being heated by the steam or high-temperature water, it is used for heating. A make-up water pump injects water into the system to maintain constant system pressure, thus forming a water supply circulation.

The heat exchange unit of Firstpower can be further integrated into outdoor heat exchange stations for various heat media such as ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, steam, and hot water according to specific needs. Among them, the outdoor modular heat exchange stations can be flexibly and quickly designed and assembled according to different user requirements, reducing construction costs and timeframes. They enable rapid implementation of unattended heating, integrating cooling, heating, hot water supply, and energy storage. The system features are roughly as follows:
